Reorganizing

Have you ever noticed that when you try to do one thing, it cascades into a bunch of other projects?
So, as we were attempting to reorganize two upstairs bedrooms, we ended up building a shelf, shopping for dressers, and buying a new vacuum.
Here are the boys working on painting the shelf Ben made.

Here's Savitri and Rohan watching TV in the guest room. They do this a lot.

And here she is on the same bed, now in our room.

Needless to say, Ben has a sore back from moving lots of furniture.
I have a sore back from leaning over my sewing machine, but I did finally get a dress sewn for Katelynn. She even modeled it for me.

This was my second attempt. There will be no photos posted of the first attempt. Let's just say dress patterns make more sense after a good night's sleep.Besides sewing and playing with Katelynn, we went to a really cool castle-type park this week.

There was even a dragon!

The kids are growing up so fast, I can hardly stand it. Bruce is learning to read and do math. Rohan is into everything and has so much energy. Savitri does something new every day. She's been loving food lately and wants to eat everything we are.

She creeped a few inches, she bounces to music, and she says "la, la, la, la." You should really come see them all in person. They would love to play with you!
