Bruce passed his driving test on Monday! Today, he goes in to get his actual license and he will be a legal driver who can drive all by himself (except for between the hours of midnight and 5 am or with more than one person in the car who is not a family member.)
Rohan and I have been out shopping around for mission supplies for him. On our way to the store we spotted a shawarma food truck and decided to try it out. The food was just okay, but Rohan found a "cool" baby jumping spider to play with while we were waiting for our order.
Savitri turned 13 this week! We celebrated on the actual day and then again with the Joneses on Sunday. She got lots of books. That was pretty much all she asked for.
She had cheesecake for her birthday and Aunt Susan made her a yummy strawberry cake for Sunday.
Savitri and Bruce were able to go to do baptisms for the dead at the temple this week with their youth group, and they were able to go to a youth fireside where one of the church leaders talked about the time he was mauled by a bear! Crazy!
The Relief Society sisters had a meeting with some church leaders too, including Elder Renlund, but we didn't get any stories as exciting as bear attacks.
October is fast approaching and my Halloween preparations are not coming along as fast as they should. My Hocus Pocus theme might end up being hokey and pokey if I don't hurry up!
