I made the mistake of mentioning to the children, one night this week, how high Simon Biles can jump. And thus ensued some night-time hijinx.
The first event was the high jump. Rohan measured their reach and then they jumped as high as they could and stuck a piece of painters tape to the wall. They had to pull the ladder out to get Rohan's measurement.
Then there was the long jump. The judges were very thorough.
I was so tired, but I stayed up with them in case we had to take a trip to the emergency room. Here are a couple of highlights.
