Last Week of Summer

We got an unexpected visit from Sam and Brielan this week. Sam's brother, who lives close to us, has been sick with colon cancer for a few years and he isn't doing well. Sam's whole family has been in Houston this week visiting his brother in hospital.

Sam and Brie got to visit us in-between visits to the hospital, and we went to some antique shops in Tomball and out for barbeque.

We celebrated Katie's 5th birthday this week. Savitri and I helped corral 13 five-year-olds at her Bluey themed party.

Susan made an amazing cake with strawberry and chocolate layers.

Savitri and Bruce start school on Wednesday. Summer vacation went by so fast! The summer weather will still be here for a few months though.
