Spices, Bouncing, and Swordplay

My boys discovered the taste of cloves this week. Rohan saw a picture of them in his atlas and wanted to know what they were and if he could taste them. Bruce tried one too. Neither of them were too excited about the flavor.

Unrelated to the cloves, Rohan had his first visit to the dentist last week. He thought it was fun. No cavitites to report, and he liked the tropical fruit toothpaste.

We played swords a lot this week for some reason. And yes, that is a harmonica Bruce is playing while swashbuckling. Rohan is weilding his binoculars.

Rohan and Bruce enjoyed the indoor bouncy place on Friday.  We went once in the morning and again after Daddy came  home from work. Bruce was a little scared at first, but by the end he was doing it all on his own, including the ginormous slide. Ben and I played as well. We're a little out of shape.

We have Ben's sister Susan and her family visiting now too. It's been lots of fun playing with the cousins. They'll be here for a few days. Baby Lindy is almost three months old.

Uncle Ben is holding her in this picture, but Aunty Shanna likes to hold her most of the time :)
