Here Comes Crazy Time

November marks the official start of crazy-busy season. We had a lot to do this week, but most of it was fun :)

Ben took Savitri and Bruce and his friends to the Texas Renaissance Festival for a day of fun shopping, shows, and junk food.

The highlight of the trip for Savitri was the chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick. Yum. I am told she and Ben also ate bacon on a stick and a sausage on a stick and some funnel cake, which was just on a plate. I stayed home with Rohan. He was sick for a few days this week.

Ben taught Rohan how to use the planer in the garage. Rohan is planning on repurposing some old fence posts to make himself a desk.

He's also been making terrariums this week with Sarah and Savitri. They've been collecting moss and all kinds of stuff to put in them, including snails. The hunt is still on for some rollie-polies.

Earlier in the week the youth from Church went to the temple together. I got to go with them.

We also had a mini piano recital. Bruce played a song called "Dung Defender" from a video game he likes, and he also did a duet with our friend Daniella.

Savitri played a song from Harry Potter. They both did really well.

Ben and Rohan and I have been working on Etsy orders and getting products ready. Here are few of the bracelets we made this week and posted on the site. We also did some engraved pencil and ruler sets and some beaded keychains. It's been fun.

This week is the last week of school before Thanksgiving break. We are working on school projects, getting ready for soccer tryouts, and fundraisers for both the high school soccer team and the middle school PTO. Christmas concerts, soccer tryouts, Etsy orders (we hope), and Christmas parties and movie nights are all coming up. It will be fun but busy. Happy Holiday Season everyone!
