Summer is Finally Here!

Savitri performed in her school variety show this week in a skit with her friends, and she played Fur Elise on the piano.

She also had her 5th grade graduation ceremony. It's off to middle school next year!

She was awarded a presidential award and a math award among others. She's one smart, hard-working cookie!

Later in the day, I helped out at her school party.

The boys got haircuts on Friday. Bruce's wasn't as dramatic as Rohan's. Rohan wouldn't let me take a photo of the finished do, but it is a whole lot shorter.

Savitri had some good swims at the swim meet yesterday. She always has Aunt Susan french braid her hair before she swims. 

Ben and I went to dinner with his work friend Celsu and had some good seafood at Pappadeaux's. Celsu got his U.S. citizenship that day, so we celebrated!

 I'm so glad that the crazy month of May is over. We are hoping for a relaxing June. Fingers crossed.
