We started off the week having fun at the pool. Bruce, Savitri, Evan, and Lindy decided to pile onto Rohan all at once.
With our temple reopening, Bruce was able to attend for the first time to do baptisms for the dead. We went with him and his whole deacons' quorum.Ben and Savitri painted her room and now she is moving everything back in. We all have blue paint splotches on us.
At soccer practice on Wednesday night, Rohan fell and someone stepped on his arm. He said he heard it snap. We went to the emergency room where we waited for four hours before being taken to a private room where he saw a doctor. The orthopedic surgeon had him admitted and we spent the next nearly 24 hours in the hospital waiting and getting ready for him to be operated on. They brought him in an Xbox to play and he somehow managed to play left-handed.
He had permanent screws and plates put into his right forearm. We finally got home on Friday afternoon.
While Rohan and I were at the hospital, Ben and Susan kept things running at home and took care of Bruce and Savitri. I spent my birthday in the hospital, but we celebrated yesterday with presents and flowers and balloons. And today I get brownies!
Rohan has a lot of adjustments to make, but we feel the Lord blessing us as we go along trying to figure things out.
