A Visit from the Nielsens

A couple of months ago, we were driving in Tomball and the kids saw a park they really wanted to visit--we've been calling it the "wooden park" because almost everything there is made of wood and tires. We weren't able to go that day, but they have been begging to go back, so we finally did this week.
The park was fun, but wasn't quite as exciting as they were hoping it would be. It was muddy and in bad repair. Rohan and Bruce tried to fix the zipline.
We ended up only playing for about a half an hour before we decided to go find another park, but I'm glad we finally got to visit the wooden park.

My nephew Grant graduated from high school this week, so we got to watch Katie while Susan and her family got soaked at the stadium where about 900 kids were matriculating. We had so much fun.

Ben's sister Rachel and her family, the Nielsens, are here visiting for a few days on a massive road trip from Idaho.
Yesterday, we went to Galveston beach with them and Susan's family and one of our neighbor friends.
It was supposed to be rainy, but it turned out to be a fantastic day.
