It's a Quarantine Life for Us

Well, our world has changed in the last week. School's out, church is cancelled, and the only place I've been going is the grocery store. This Covid-19 virus has sent us all for a loop.

Gratefully, we have a good home where our children can learn and Ben can work and I can continue to love staying at home.

We've been staying busy. Ben redid the guest room to be a more permanent office. We started having church at home with Savitri leading the music, me being the Sunday school teacher, Ben blessing the sacrament, Rohan preparing it, and Bruce passing it. And I've become a homeschool teacher.

Despite the restrictions, we've been having a great time together.

We've been getting outside every day, doing things like a photo scavenger hunt, taking walks, playing badminton and tennis, and losing to Rohan at driveway basketball hoop HORSE. Every. Time.

The children have been making their own fun too.

We've been staying close to family using facetime and also doing virtual piano lessons that way.

The kids have been taking turns helping me or Ben cook dinner each night, too. So maybe we'll have some expert chefs when this is all over.
All in all, we are weathering this pandemic quite well and we are grateful we are equipped to do so. We know there are lots of people who aren't though, and we hope we'll be able to do our part to help in this crisis.
