A Spring Break for the Books

We started off spring break with a trip to Skate Champions.

On Wednesday we went to lunch at a Dominican restaurant with my friend Cassie, who served her mission in the Dominican Republic.
My water glass was a foreshadowing for the rest of the week.
We went to Liberty Hill to visit Aunty Mala and family for the weekend and that's when the Corona virus restrictions began. We passed fields of beautiful bluebonnets on the way there.

It wasn't that warm, but Savitri and Bruce swam anyway.
We had a marshmallow roast too.

We stopped at Buccee's on the way home for snacks and then sanitized our hands really well.
School is cancelled for the time being, as are church meetings, and any other large gatherings. Houston has had quite a few cases of COVID-19. Grocery stores are limiting their hours and we are grateful we keep home storage. We are doing our own church meeting at home today and tomorrow begins our foray into learning and working at home.
