A Colorful Week

We started off the week with tie-dye shirts. We used the powdered dye that comes in the bottles. It's so much neater than how we used to do it with buckets of dye when I was a kid. It was still plenty messy though. Savitri was happy. She has been begging me to make some since Christmas.

Rohan spent five hours a day at Cub Scout day camp this week. He came home tired, but he had lots of fun and fulfilled a lot of requirements. Thanks to Aunt Susan who volunteered to be there every day too!
We also got our first family pets yesterday. It only took us 12 years. We would like to welcome Pinky Pie, Gandalf the Silver, and The Iron Giant, to the family: three brass tetras we picked out to go in our five-gallon tank. They had awesome aquariums at the fish store that the kids enjoyed.

Ben and I went out on an early birthday/Father's Day date last night to a painting place. We really enjoyed ourselves.

And a bonus picture you can write your own caption to. The moustache is from his primary teacher.
