I turned the big 3-4 today. My gray hairs are multiplying, my bones are getting old, my skin is getting wrinkly. Sigh. I blame the gray hairs on Bruce, but the rest of the stuff is probably my fault :)
Daniel made me a yummy chocolate cake.
Ben smoked some delicious chicken.
And we had a little family party with Leonora, Kevin, Katelynn, Daniel, Becca (Daniel's girlfriend)
and Grandpa G! He's back!
We saw this cool VW Bug when we went to pick him up at the airport.
It is covered in knitting and beadwork from Mexico. It was quite amazing.
We had Rohan's level two swimming lessons this week and lots of other errands to do. In between all that we did some art
played with the baby
ate some good food (yes, that is a chocolate Cheerio on her chin)
grew some bacteria in petri dishes with Uncle Daniel's help
and watched the fire on the mountain.
Our home is not in danger, but it has burned thousands of acres and the smoke is quite bad on some days.
Happy birthday! I am horrible at keeping track of those things lately, but better late than never. It is so great to see you too! We mommies are rarely in the photos we love to take so much, eh?
