Happy Birthday Bruce!

 Bruce turns 17 today! It's hard to believe. He had a big treat earlier this week when a video game he has been waiting for finally came out. It's been six years since they announced it! He was so happy. The game is called Silk Song, and it's a sequel to his favorite game Hollow Knight.

We celebrated his birthday last night with Susan and family. Bruce requested his usual mint chocolate brownies. We opened presents with him this morning before school. Tonight, he is going to play jugger at the park with his friends to celebrate. That's a fake fighting game where they make swords and spears and shields out of pool noodles and duct tape wrapped around PVC pipe. It's mostly non-injurious.

Susan and I threw a surprise dinner at Lupe Tortilla for our good friend Cristy over the weekend. She's turning 50. It's right around the corner for us too. Yikes.

Savitri and Lindy reenacted scenes from The Princess Diaries with Katie last week Sunday. It was very cute. That's Katie's favorite show right now and the big girls love it too.

We were able to talk to Rohan today. He's doing really well. His knees still hurt, but he thinks it's because of all the bike riding. He's playing some new piano pieces and teaching a lot. Here he is with his new companion, Elder Augustine.
