Ben and Savitri decided to stay home and read while Bruce, Rohan, and I went to check out a new mini golf place this week. The glow-in-the-dark course made it harder to see the ups and downs of the course, but I still managed to get the highest score. We each had our own light-up ball in different colors.
Rohan won an inside-out octopus for Bruce in the claw machine, and they played Guitar Hero at the arcade in the mini golf place.
We were able to go to Austin on the Fourth of July to celebrate with Aunty Mala and family. The kids played candy poker and pool badminton before we went out to dinner and drove back to Houston. Dhar is heading to college, Shanti is heading to North Carolina for work, and Rohan is going on a mission. These cousins won't be seeing each other for a while, so we are really grateful we could get together.
And speaking of missions, Rohan shaved and got a haircut so he could take the photo for his missionary application and turn it in.
We are currently waiting for Tropical Storm Beryl to make its appearance over Houston. It has already hit Jamaica and Mexico. We hope it wont be too bad here, but we have our supplies and we are as ready as we can be.
