12 on the 12th

Savitri had her golden birthday this week. Twelve on the 12th! We had cake at her party and we're having cheesecake today for our family party with the Jones family, so we didn't have any cake on her actual birthday. I told you it was cake season!

On Saturday we hosted a welcome home party for Morgan Hardie. She just got home from her mission, and her parents are our good friends. Family and friends brought all kinds of yummy food. Morgan has been serving the Lord in Ogden, Utah, for the past year and a half. She used to babysit the kids when we first moved to Texas. She was shocked to see Rohan with a beard when she got home, and Savitri has grown taller than her.

While we entertained at home, Ben and Rohan went exploring at Huntsville State Park. They didn't spot any alligators like Rohan was hoping, but they had a good time.
