Soccer, Sushi, and a Temple Trip

Savitri dressed up cute for school picture day this week.
She also got to start being on safety patrol. She and the other safety patrol members are all 5th graders who help arrival and dismissal at school to go smoothly for the younger children. Both Bruce and Rohan were on safety patrol when they were in elementary school here, so she was hoping to be chosen for it.
Ben and I went with Bruce's seminary class to the temple on Thursday. He and Evan even held still long enough for a photo and neither of them is making a face or doing "rabbit ears." It's amazing!
We spent a lot of the weekend watching general conference, where the prophet and other church leaders speak to the whole church membership. It was great.
Ben has been working on getting ornaments made for our Etsy shop using his laser cutter. We have a few Idaho ones, among other things. The shop is "Bisonandbobcatstudio" if you want to search it. All one word on Etsy.
We get to watch Sushi this week! Our friends are out of town so we are bird-sitting their little pet cockatiel, Sushi. She is very sweet and lets you know exactly what she wants.
Rohan is her favorite.

Savitri had her first soccer game of the season. Rohan is her assistant coach at the YMCA. They won by a lot and she really enjoyed herself.
