Brazos Bend

We drove an hour south to Brazos Bend State Park yesterday. Can you tell who was so excited to be there? 

We walked an almost two mile loop around a lake where we saw six alligators basking in the sun or floating, along with lots of turtles and birds.

We had the opportunity to pet a baby alligator at the visitors' center, but only Rohan did.

It was a really pretty day, nice and cool for Houston, and the scenery was lovely. I especially liked all the moss hanging from the trees.
