Bruce turned 13 this week! He requested his usual chocolate cake with mint frosting.
Savitri's birthday was next. She had a big party with her friends on Saturday and we had a family dinner on Sunday to celebrate both the kids' birthdays. Bruce didn't want a party, but he is going to go play laser tag with his friends to celebrate. We were lucky to have Grandma Butler here visiting from Idaho for the party too.
Savitri had a galaxy themed party, so we decorated astronaut helmets, ate a cake that looked like the milky way, and surprised her with a bounce house in Aunt Susan's backyard for the grand finale.
It's hard to believe she's 10!
