Easter Week and a Visit from the Wyoming Butlers

Ben's brother Edwin and his family drove all the way from Lander, Wyoming, to visit us for their spring break. We did lots of fun things together, and though my kids were in school, I don't think homework was one of them.
Ben and Edwin went for a more than 20 mile bike ride in their matching jerseys.
We visited the playground at Pundt Park and then the river beach there.

Aunt Jen and Uncle Edwin also brought interesting gifts. Hmmm.

We celebrated my nephew John's 9th birthday while they were here. His cake was stacks of million dollar bills with his face on them!
The zoo was fantastic. The weather was perfect, the animals were all out, and it wasn't crowded at all due to the Covid restrictions.

The carousel was fabulous. We rode a panda, pig, giraffe, zebra, and other fun animals.

We had a fabulous Easter egg hunt in three parts on Friday. First the little kids. It was Katie's first hunt.

Then the big kids.
And then the part where all the kids chased Rohan to get all the eggs I taped to him. That was my favorite.

We love the Easter season, especially because it reminds us of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who makes all good things possible and makes all things fair in the end. We love you all.
