Hot, Hot, Hot in Houston

Ben went on two big bike rides this week, each about 30 miles long. Here he is near downtown Houston in Buffalo Bayou.

We've been braving the heat, which has been in the 100s, to take early morning walks before it gets too bad. Mostly the kids have been motivated to go outside to play Pokémon Go.

On Friday, we went to Surfside beach with the cousins. The water was warm and clearer than usual, and we had a great day digging and playing in the water.
