Bonus Summer

We are determined not to waste our extra three weeks of summer. We've been taking walks, even though we are pretty melty by the end of them. We've been going swimming and layering on the sunscreen. And we've been playing games and video games with the cousins as much as possible.

Baby Katie is learning how to walk and we are all enjoying playing with her. She's going to be sad when all the kids go back to school and she's left with us boring grown ups all day.

Savitri spent the night at Aunt Susan's house on Friday and they ran out of time to paint her toenails, so Susan came over later to finish up the fun. Let's just say there were four colors and polka dots involved. 

I've been trying to sew more for my Etsy site as well. Here's Savitri modeling a child's apron I made this week.

Ben and his nephews have also been working on new school desks for them in his shop. They will need them for online school. When they're done, we'll have some photos.
