Oregon: Rock Pooling and a FIshing Trip

The Oregon Coast is beautiful. We went to a rocky beach to check out what was in the rock pools when the tide was out, and we weren't disappointed.

We found loads of sea anemones. Most of them were closed.
There were also tons of tiny crabs and a few big ones. Grant caught a big one.
Lots of starfish dotted the undersides of rocks and a few were in plain view.

We loved discovering all the little animals and their beauty.

A few fisherpeople decided to go out in a boat and brought back a big haul of rockfish, cod, and crab.

We had crab for dinner two nights in a row and fish one night.
