Hnefatafl and Other Fun Things

Besides schoolwork, chores, and work, this week's activities included soccer and flying kites,

doing a painting craft,

Water balloon baseball,

and a scavenger hunt. The water balloon baseball was a big hit.

 Ben also discovered a new game that's kind of like Viking chess. It's called Hnefatafl. Say that three times fast. Or even once!

He made a wooden game board so we could all play and it's pretty fun. Right now we are still kind of learning, but soon we will see who shall be king or queen of the Vikings!
