It's been a big week: the first day of school, a solar eclipse, and Hurricane Harvey.
The kids were so excited to go back to school. Savitri could hardly sleep. She loves kindergarten.
They let the kids watch the eclipse on a live feed at school on Monday. Ben and I were indoors and missed it, but we saw some cool photos later.
Susan and I got to go to the temple earlier this week, before the rain started.
Hurricane Harvey's rain started on Thursday night and still continues.
The kids went out to play on our street during a break in the rain. That's all drained off now.
Church was cancelled today, and school is cancelled for the next two days. We sat in the window seat watching the rain and videos on weather.com this morning. Most of Houston is looking pretty bad. We are doing well so far.
