We went to a water park at Moody Gardens named Palm Beach. There was sand, a lazy river, a wave pool, and lots of other fun things, but no access to the actual beach or actual waves. After our initial surprise, we had tons of fun building sand castles and swimming anyway.
I managed to lock my keys in the car at the gas station we stopped at on the way home. Gratefully, the nice gas station employees knew a locksmith who could come help me pretty quickly. We were out of there in half an hour, keys and all.
We got lots of cousin time this week and tie dyed some awesome shirts.
On Saturday morning we sweat buckets at cousin Grant's Eagle Scout project, documenting gravestones in Conroe for billiongraves.com. The information we recorded will help people with their genealogy work. Grant did a great job organizing his sweaty volunteers.
