Road Trip to Florida

The kids and I left early Monday morning for a two-day drive to Florida. We drove through, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama on our way there to visit Grandpa Shariq and Aunty Rafat.

While we were there, we visited LegoLand. The kids loved it.

 There were amazing Lego sculptures everywhere.

We especially liked all the mini cities and Star Wars scenes made out of Legos.

We visited Little Lake Charles, near Grandpa's house, played badminton with him, and swam in his neighborhood pool. Tavares, Florida, is a pretty place.

We tried on the clothes Rafat Aunty brought back for us from India.

Aaaand . . . Savitri had her first haircut at a salon! She was excited to go, and her short do looks very cute on her.

On the way home, we stopped in Pascagoula, MS, and went to Beach Park. It had a spray park and a beach. It was a fun break from the car.

We got home to Ben on Saturday evening. We were all happy to be together again, even though we miss our family.
