Bears and the Unexpected

Rohan got his Bear award at Scouts this week. Ben got to present it, since he is the Cub Master. I got to be in the picture too, even though I did absolutely nothing to help him earn it. Ben and Rohan did a lot though.

Afterwards, Rohan and the other kids got to row across the gym on sliding dollies with plungers for oars. It was a fun activity.

Savitri decided to give herself a little haircut this week. I was not happy, but at least it wasn't too noticeable. I never expected her to do something so silly. She is normally so responsible with scissors.

Also unexpected was my trip to Connecticut yesterday. Granny is in the hospital in Devon, and Mummy and I decided it was time to go visit her. It looks like she might be there for a while with pneumonia. We leave tomorrow.

I miss my little darlings and my Benjamin.

But I'm grateful I get to see my other family.
