The kids had all week off of school, and we had some great weather. On Tuesday we went to Brenham, Texas, to visit Fireman's Park and the Bluebell Creamery. We ate our picnic lunch at the park and then had some yummy ice cream at Bluebell.
Savitri's friend Sophia came with us too.
We took our customary cousins at the creamery photo on the bench outside.
Ben took two days off this week so he could spend some time with us. He and Rohan and Mom went to Brazos Bend with some of the Joneses to see the alligators. If you zoom in, you can see one behind Ben and also behind Rohan and Evan.
I took a trip to the temple with Savitri and some of the cousins this week too. And later in the week, just the grownups went. And then I served in the temple on Friday! Lots of temple time this week.
Bruce and Rohan made "weapons" for a game called Jugger that they play with friends. PVC pipes and pool noodle things and plywood ended up being lances, shields, and swords. Luckily, everyone went home with both their eyes and no blood was shed.
