Out West: A Weekend in Idaho

While Ben and two of his brothers did a bike ride in Logan, Utah, the rest of us headed to Lava Hot Springs to see all the Butler family. The kids enjoyed the pool, the waterslides, and time with family.

After a long day in the sun, we drove to Shelley, Idaho, and stayed with Joseph and Suzanne. The kids had sleepovers on the trampoline in the yard and in Rachel's backyard.

We had two big family dinners together.

We had Italian sodas and snow cones, and the little kids enjoyed trying to high five Rohan.

On the way back to Utah, we visited the Potato Museum.

We also took a detour to see the Golden Spike Monument in northern Utah. It commemorates where the transcontinental railroad was completed.
