Fall in Houston is different. Nothing will actually fall off the trees until December, and that chilly air hadn't quite arrived when we got to the 7-Acre Farm on Monday. The kids had Monday off of school, so I took Savitri and her friend Alexa and Lindy to the pumpkin patch there. The boys were not interested in going.
They fed the animals in the petting zoo, went on a barrel ride, and picked out some overpriced pumpkins before we left.
Ben got to go on a 23-mile bike ride in downtown Houston on Saturday. He found a bunch of painted skulls in a park there and also the entrance to the Google office he is assigned to, even though he works from home.
Google send him this cool hat because he is new to Google. He's a Noogler. Get it?
