With a limited number of things we feel safe doing because of the Covid virus, we still had loads of fun this week. We had a sports day at the neighborhood park and played soccer, Frisbee, and Nerf wars.
The next day we visited Brenham, Texas, to work on a Billion Graves project. Billiongraves.com is a site/app that collects data from graveyards all over the world to help people to do their family history. We took photos of the headstones and uploaded them to the site.
And a trip to Brenham is never complete without some Bluebell Ice cream, so we stopped there after we had a picnic at a nearby park.
Christmas Eve dinner was yummy. For dessert Susan made a pretty yule log, and I made my best looking apple pie ever.
Christmas morning started early. Very early. None of us slept very well and we all woke up around 5 am. We dug into our stockings around 6 a.m. and were playing with our presents by 8 a.m.!
