A Weekend in Bastrop

With an extra two days off of school this week, we decided to rent a house in the Hill Country so we could be socially distant in another town. Bastrop is a little town about an hour from Austin, and it has a state park with hills for Ben to ride his bike on, and a river and some good parks to enjoy.

We stayed in a nice house with lots of fun things for the kids to do, like a pinball machine, an old time video arcade game, a pool table, a skee ball game, and a hot tub.

The cousins came up to visit for a day, too.

On Sunday we had virtual church.

I even got some crocheting done in between losing at pool to Rohan and riding bikes at the park with the kids. This is a "crewmate" from the video game Bruce has been playing a lot of lately.

We are glad to be back home now. School again tomorrow!
