The school district had a trial day for online school on Monday to see if everything was ready for starting school this week. The kids each have their own little spot to work in and everything went much better than I thought it would.
Rohan had the urge to make bread this week and I did not dissuade him. It turned out great.
And Savitri wanted to make dinner for everyone! She had some help, but she made some yummy, cheesy quesadillas.
We took one last chance before school starts to go to the beach in Galveston. The sand was pretty compacted from Hurricane Laura last week, and you could tell the storm surge came up pretty high. The boys dug a hole, as usual, and I made a sand mermaid body for Savitri.
We went with Susan and her family and our good friend Cristy and her family. There were 13 kids in all!
