A New School Year

The kids were able to have friends over one last time before summer ended. Bruce and his friends Minecrafted the day away.

Ben braved the more than 100 degree weather to start staining our new fence. He also planted a couple of teeny banana trees. We are hoping they will survive.

I took all the kids to the dentist and they eye doctor before school started. No cavities! Yay! But we did have one new pair of glasses to get for Bruce. His eyes got a little worse. 

They have this display outside of our eye doctor every year at back to school time and the kids like to have their picture taken with it.

They were all ready to go this morning. Savitri to 2nd grade and Bruce and Rohan to middle school in 6th and 8th grades.
