We had a packed week with Uncle Darry, Aunty Po, Kishan, and Grandpa Beard arriving last Sunday.
On Monday, we all flew to Orlando (except for my Benjamin, who had to work.)
We spent two days at Universal Studios reveling in the Harry Potter recreations and rides.
Rohan had some butterbeer, and we ate at The Three Broomsticks and at The Leaky Cauldron.
I visited number 12 Grimmauld Place.
The boys drooled over a Firebolt in a shop window.
We rode the Hogwarts Express!!!
Uncle Darry survived an encounter with a T-Rex.
On our third day in Orlando, we went to the Magic Kingdom. Rohan and Bruce had been before, but didn't really remember anything. It was Kishan and Savitri's first time. Kishore joined us as well (which is why some of these photos are actually decent quality :). Thanks, Kish.
We got back on Thursday evening and the boys, sans Grandpa, headed out on a bay fishing trip in Galveston. They caught sharks, red drum, and sheepshead.

You'd think we'd have had enough by then, but on Saturday, Ben and the boys, along with Susan's family, ran in the Blue Bell fun run in Brenham, Texas. Savitri and I had ice cream for breakfast while we waited for them to finish the 5K.
After the race we headed to Austin to spend the rest of the weekend with Aunty Mala and family.
We played in the water again, and walked around Georgetown.
It feels like we packed two weeks into one, and we are tired, but we had such a great time with everyone. Now we are catching up on work, homework, and housework, so we can go to Austin again this weekend to see Uncle Darry and family before they head back to England this Sunday.
