With all the unrest and vitriol in the United States this week, I was beginning to feel kind of down. Then I went to the 5th grade Veteran's Day program at Rohan's school.
The posters on the wall tell what Rohan's school teaches, and I'm very grateful for it.
None of these good things were portrayed in the presidential election, but it is good to know these values are being taught at our school.
It's a school where the PTO has prayer at the flag, where teachers and students respect each other, and where people aren't scared to say, "Have a blessed day."
If that's what my kids and others are being taught, maybe America's future isn't so depressing after all. Thanks Kreinhop Elementary.
