Spring Break . . . Literally

Last week we started Savitri's ballet class. She gets to be in the same class as cousin Lindy.

We had lots of play time too.
I learned how to crochet flowers and started sewing bags again.

This week was spring break, and we had lots of fun plans with Aunt Susan. We started off the week by going to a butterfly garden in downtown Houston. Savitri was a little scared. The boys spent long periods holding still with their arms out, hoping the butterflies would land on them.

After a picnic lunch we headed to the aquarium at the zoo.

We got back early so we could check on Grandpa G who has pneumonia right now. He doesn't feel too bad.
The next day Rohan was helping me sweep the kitchen and the bench from our kitchen table fell over and hit his foot. It hurt. A lot.
At the urgent care we figured out he had a broken big toe. He is now on crutches and in a little boot waiting for his toe to heal. Poor Rohan.
