Happy 2015!

It seems like whenever we go to the beach the weather is perfect . . . for wrapping up in a blanket and staying inside with a cup of hot cocoa. Yesterday was no exception when we trekked to Galveston with Susan's family. The weather didn't stop us from having a good time though.
First, we made sure we had the right gear, i.e. adorable sailor-type clothing.
Then we ate seafood at a seaside restaurant. Our kids love fish!
Then for a leisurely stroll on the beach, in our galoshes, rain jackets, and other protective gear.

 Ben and Lindy.

It's so great to live near Susan and Paul.
 Ooh! A seashell!
We got some fresh red and vermilion snapper to take home as well. Ben fried it up for dinner tonight. Mmm, mmm.
For New Year's Eve we stayed up late with the cousins and played games and ate lots of good food. The kids were thrilled that we let them stay up until midnight.
And since it's a new year, we have new classes at church. Savitri is a Sunbeam now!
We are looking forward to a great new year in Texas. We love you all. Happy New Year!
