Holes and Boxes

There was a lot to do this week. I threw a baby shower for Bruce's kindergarten teacher, who is also our neighbor.

I've never thrown a shower where loads of five- and six-year-olds were invited, but we sure had a good time. I think Mrs. Cey did too.
Ben is sore from building loads of garden boxes. We are excited to start gardening soon!

He had lots of helpers.

After reading HOLES together and then watching the movie, all the boys wanted to do was dig holes.

We are going to have a lot to fill in before we finish off the garden.
Between building boxes, Ben found time to use his new birthday grill for the first time. It was a yummy, productive Saturday.
