New Year Fun

The weather here is schizophrenic, so one day we play at the park, and the next day we build a snowman (in the back yard anyway, because by noon the snow on the south side of the house has already melted!)

And then afterwards we drink hot cocoa and snuggle. Life is good :)

In between work trips last week, Benjamin finished building a stand for our TV that has tons of storage for all our movies, video games, and other sundry items. It's pretty awesome and so is he. Those are not tons of little drawers but a few drawers and cabinets made to look like an apothecary cabinet.

And, as you might have heard, there's a football team in Colorado that's pretty popular right now, so they've been having blue and orange day at school quite a bit. Bruce had his penguin day in Kindergarten fall on one of the same days, so he was all decked out.

In other news we have a new nephew! Edwin and Jennifer had baby Robert Allan Butler yesterday. We are so excited to have him in the family, even if we thought he was going to be a girl :)

And last, but not least, our little performer.
