Happy Haunting

We started celebrating Halloween early with lots of candy, costumes, and crafts. Why wait?
Our wizard, ninja, and Red Riding Hood had a great time at our ward party. I was Granny, and Ben consented to wear a T-shirt with the words "Big Bad Wolf" on it in small lettering :).
Bruce had a hayride at school and picked a pumpkin from the patch.

We made tin can luminaries for the front porch.
To top it all off, we even had snow last week!

It only lasted a day. Good thing too, because that meant Edwin and family had a safe ride down to come visit us! We were glad to see them for a couple of days. Uncle Edwin--who we will be forever thankful to--taught Rohan how to tie his shoelaces on this trip. We were all thrilled!
Go Rohan! Rohan has been very interested in learning all kinds of things lately. Here he is studying his book on the periodic table
in his wizard costume, while playing a game of scrabble . . .
And last, but not least, Ben came home from Mexico and finished the garage shelves. We can park both cars in the garage now! Woo hoo!
