Savitri Turns Two

We have way too much birthday cake at our house. I guess that's what happens when your children's birthdays are close together.
Savitri had a lot of fun turning two. She loved her birthday balloons, presents, and cake.

Katelynn helped me make the frosting.

Jane was there too.

Rohan collected all the present wrappings as Savitri tore them off.

She's a good present opener.

The next day she found a princess dress that finally fits her.

I tried to get a video of her dancing to a Wii game in it, but this is what happened instead.

Later in the day, the kids drew chalk outlines of each other on the driveway. Slightly morbid, but lots of fun.

That was pretty much the only break we've had from rain since Tuesday. The flooding continues, but we are not in danger so far. Ben had the chance to help someone shovel mud out of their basement on Saturday though, so there are lots of people nearby who are being affected by the rain and flooding.
